* Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Research Branch Chief with experience leading a diverse team of advisors, analysts, and planners, to serve as manager and to achieve operational objectives within the United States Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida\.
*

* The successful candidate will be responsible for overall strategy, research tasking, data validation and program compliance management of IO activities for the contractor's operations in the USCENTCOM, USAFRICOM, and USEUCOM including the following duties:
prepares status reports, assesses project issues and risks and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client\-satisfaction goals and objectives\.

* Roles and responsibilities for this position include:

*

*
* - Manage all assigned Research Branch Personnel
*
*
*
* - Manage planning and execution for all Research tasks, requirements, and deliverables to meet quality assurance standards for on time delivery\.
*
*
*
* - Oversee all operational aspects of ongoing research projects, and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management, and customer\.
*
*
*
* - Identify and assess research project issues, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client\-satisfaction goals and objectives
*
*
*
* - Develop mechanisms for monitoring research project progress, and for intervention and problem solving with program manager and clients\.
*
*
*
* Basic Qualifications:

*
*
*
* 1\. Must possess a Master's degree\.
*
*
*
* 2\. Must possess a minimum of ten years of experience with IO related research projects including at least five years direct support to USCENTCOM, USAFRICOM, or USEUCOM AORs\.
*
*
*
* 3\. Must possess experience leading distributed research teams comprised of personnel from multiple companies\.
*
*
*
* 4\. Must have the ability to identify research personnel and missions issues early, develop mitigation plans and
*
*
*
* communicate potential impacts and alternate course of action impacts to the customer\.
*
*
*
* 5\. Must possess excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills to include proficiency with customer\-based
*
*
*
* communication systems\.
*
*
*
* 6\. Must possess strong leadership, communication and motivational skills; ability to create a positive and productive work
*
*
*
* environment\.
*
*
*
* 7\. Must be willing and able to travel as required by the program both CONUS and OCONUS\.
*

*
* 8\. Must possess or be able obtain a current U\.S\. Passport\.
*
*
*
* 9\. Must possess a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility\.

* 10\. Must be a U\.S\. Citizen\.

* Preferred Qualifications:

* 1\. A Doctorate degree\.
*

* 2\. A current U\.S\. Passport\.

* 3\. Recent Information Operation research planning experience\.
*

* 4\. Project Management Institute \(PMI\) Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional \(PgMP\) certification\.

* 5\. Experience working in the customer space as an individual technical contributor\.
