Primary Job Responsibilities:
The Regional Sales /Business Development Manager - Global Aviation Solutions (GAS) will be responsible for all regional sales for Harris products and services within the portfolio. Working as part of Harris Global Aviation Solution (GAS) business, will support and co-ordinate strategies for all current/ new business opportunities, and lead the strategic development of the region. The Regional Sales / Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following duties:* Developing ongoing market penetration strategy for GAS
* Meeting sales targets and strategic goals for promotion of GAS in each financial year against agreed targets;
* Responsibility for identification, strategy development, liaising with GAS business units, and managing the respective opportunities / markets
* Developing long-term relationships between Harris and key customers and partner organisations;
* Working with the GAS business areas in developing sales opportunities and strategies;
* Supporting the sales and marketing activities within company financial and budgetary constraints;
* Providing necessary business reporting information.
* Other duties as defined. Required Experience and Skills* Relevant work experience in international market development.* Proven experience in international and developing business opportunities within the global Aviation industry. Qualifications/ Education Required:* Degree in business/marketing or with an aviation and technology emphasis preferred.
