Harris Corporation is currently seeking a Systems/Network Administrator to join our research team at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC (located near the Wilson Bridge and off of 295). This is a highly dynamic research environment where you will be working with cutting edge theories and technology. If you have the skills, a high desire to learn, like to work in a University type environment and are open to new ideas, concepts and challenging problem resolution then this is a perfect fit for you! The ideal candidate will review current IT infrastructure and identify future hw/sw/configuration compliance needs. Will work with customer and onsite technical reps to ensure compliance with DIACAP regulations or other DON/DOD security compliance regulations. Act as primary network and systems administrator for a network comprised of PC, Mac and Linux systems. Provide primary networking support to networked systems, provide software and hardware maintenance following compliance requirements. Job Qualifications:* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of related work experience* Install, configure and maintain MS Windows Active Directory domain with Primary and Secondary controllers* Install, configure and maintain WSUS and Apple Update Server for patch management* Use Group Policies to manage domain policies and push third party software installations to clients* Have an understanding of PKI and configuring CAC smart cards for system login and website access* Integration of Apple Macs and Linux systems into a MS Windows domain using Centrify or other applications* Install, configure and maintain Belarc Belmanage for Windows, Apple and Linux monitoring and reporting* Use of encryption tools particularly Bitlocker and Winmagic Securedoc* TCP/IP networking including subnetting, DHCP and NAT* Network+/Security+ or CISSP CertificationPreferred Qualifications:* Experience supporting DoN/DoD network, ensures STIG compliance, use of ACASSecurity Clearance:
