PACCAR Financial (PFC)
PACCAR Financial facilitates the sale of premium-quality PACCAR vehicles in 20 countries on three continents worldwide by offering a full spectrum of creative, flexible financial products and value-added services specifically tailored to the transportation industry.
Directs the on-site and field collection action on all Area delinquencies and losses to meet PFC's delinquency and loss objectives. Ensures that collection activity is completed within established policies, procedures and related regulations.
Directs the collection of past due accounts to maintain PFC's delinquency percentage and credit losses within acceptable levels.
Monitors collection metrics, including dialer performance, delinquency percentage and cure rates.
Collects major accounts. Coordinates activities with Area Credit, Area Sales, and Corporate staffs as appropriate.
Keeps Area and Corporate management apprised of significant trends and critical accounts reviews critical accounts with dealers/customers
Approves extensions and rewrites on retail installment contracts and leases per Operating Authority Limits.
Approves and monitors late charge and fee waivers.
Provides assistance in resolving title and Insurance deficiencies.
Ensures the effective use of auto-dialer and CACS.
Monitors and reviews the management information provided by the system.
Ensures that the Collection Reps use the systems correctly to maximize effectiveness and maintain accuracy.
Initiates repossession action as appropriate, referring accounts to PFC's Corporate Portfolio Department. monitors repossession activity and assists in asset recovery as needed.
Initiates legal action as appropriate and identifies bankruptcy accounts, referring accounts to PFC's Corporate Portfolio Department. Monitors legal and bankruptcy activity and assist as in legal pursuit as needed.
Approves and controls collection-related expenses; ensuring that expenses are necessary and reasonable.
Ensures accurate and timely submission of routine and special management reports.
Motivates and develops skills of subordinates through a combination of goal-setting, delegation, training, coaching, and performance review.
Keeps subordinates informed of PFC collection programs and requirements.
Sets challenging objectives, ensure objectives are achieved, recognizes accomplishments.
Develops and promotes effective teamwork between the Collection, Area and Corporate staff.
Performs special projects as assigned.
BA/BS degree required.
Five+ collections experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
Two+ years management experience in a results-oriented environment.
Strong interpersonal skills; good oral and written communication skills.
