Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking an ITSM Software Developer to join the Performance Management Team. The ITSM Software Developer will be responsible for the configuration and design of the ITSM software and interfaces that supports the ITIL processes in Service Management.

For the software developer, responsibilities include:
Management of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Configure ServiceNow Discovery tool to populate CMDB
- Maintain and set-up ServiceNow Mid servers
- Configure and maintain Business System Mapping (BSM) to Configuration Items (CIs) in the CMDB
- Maintain CIs in the CMDB and resolve any conflicts
Management of Interfaces to and from ServiceNow
- Create new interfaces to data sources and the import/export of data to ServiceNow
- Maintain existing interfaces to ServiceNow
Maintain and develop Service Catalog
- Create and modify catalog item requests
- Create and modify catalog workflows
- Generate client scripts and business rules for Service Requests
Perform all ServiceNow administrator duties
- Maintain Users, Groups, Roles, ACLs
- Configure pages and the Content Management System environment
- Create reports and batch jobs for reports
- Modify and configure the ServiceNow, Incident, Request, Change, Configuration applications
Software Life Cycle Activities
- Responsible for gathering new and maintaining existing requirements
- Design and document all changes
- Validate/Verify and document all changes
Process improvement
- Continuous improvement of workflows
- Monitoring and reporting bottlenecks, backlogs, cycle times

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education and/or Experience):
Must have at least a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 5 years experience or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years experience. Overall experience in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Three years experience in ITIL life cycle processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate with the business to understand requirements and present back findings and recommendations in terms of the potential value to the organization.
- Self-starter with the demonstrable ability to identify solutions for loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection over potentially large datasets.
- The ability to communicate with both business and technical audiences at all levels is essential.

Special Requirements and/or Training:
Experience administering and developing on a ServiceNow platform is a plus.

Knowledge of writing software in JavaScript is desired.
