Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. has an opening in the Contracts department of our Columbia, MD office. This position is an entry to junior level
opportunity that will handle contract administration for government and commercial customers, perform solicitation reviews, and assist with
client negotiations. In this position, you will interface and work with sales, operations, programs and suppliers. The position reports to the
Manager, Government Contracts and provides an excellent opportunity to learn a variety of business processes and management skills
within our organization. This is an opportunity for a candidate with an aptitude for organization and attention to detail to obtain and develop
their skills. This is an opportunity to grow over time into contract management roles with greater responsibility.

Junior Contracts Administrator
Your tasks:
Review, interpret, and facilitate responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and related
acquisition activities (for goods) working in conjunction with the
Programs, Sales, and Engineering teams.
Ensure corporate commitments are met in accordance with company
procedures, guidelines, and practices, as well as legal requirements (e.g.
Perform post-award administration and provide guidance to the order
management team.
Monitor R&S subcontractors to ensure they meet program / project
performance requirements.
Organize and maintain contract files.
Draft and review correspondence.
Assist in the development and documentation of company processes.
Maintain and enhance professional knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other
legal and regulatory requirements applicable to U.S Government

Your qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and deal with competing priorities in
afast-paced environment.
Work with supervision and in a team environment.
Requires U.S. Citizenship.
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
1+ years of relevant work experience.
Detail oriented, analytical, and highly organized
