Cadence/Prelude Analyst will work closely with the project team and operational leadership to translate business needs into EMR functionality. The incumbent will focus on analytical support and project management. They perform unit testing and create complex integrated testing scripts used to perform detailed quality assurance within multiple systems and applications prior to release of new functionality to end-users.
Positions at this level assess implementation strategies and the impact those strategies will have on workflows and operations. They are responsible for reviewing vendor software releases and updates to determine features desired and then implement them. Will assist in maintaining current test and training environments and participate in training end-users. These positions also provide 7/24 problem management support and resolution for clinical systems.
Epic Prelude, which provides patient registration, address verification, HIPPA compliant eligibility tools to ensure accurate billing; and Epic Cadence, a patient scheduling application. Responsibilities include: Assisting with the design, development, system configuration, implementation, and support of information systems for the Clinically Integrated network and Community Connect Affiliates. Incumbent will performs other related duties as required.
Experience with analysis, build, implementation and support of healthcare information systems.
EPIC systems software experience (implementation, support, upgrades, etc.) for the following application: Epic Cadence/Prelude.
A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in one or more of the following revenue cycle functions: Managed Care, Patient Access and Admitting, Charge Capture, Denials Management and Recovery, Patient Accounting, and/or Patient Financial Services.
Academic institution or large integrated health system experience.
Experience working with Hospital/Physician billing, Managed Care, and/or Registration systems.
Must be able to obtain EPIC certification in relevant software applications.
Experience working with interfaced/integrated multi-vendor applications.
Must be self-directed and able to work autonomously in a professional and productive manner.
Must be able to work overtime and/or flexible hours as needed to meeting project deadlines.
