JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Mgr, Corporate Policy
Responsible for a broad range of activities that supports the Charter Compliance Program including developing and administering policies, procedures, training and audits. Collects compliance research; oversees and classifies investigations; and collects, analyzes and interprets compliance data to identify trends and potential gaps. Assists in ensuring accurate and consistent compliance with all applicable laws, and tracks and conducts investigations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Supports Charter's Compliance Committee and Compliance Task Force by tracking, conducting, or assisting in, compliance-related investigations; develops, reports and analyzes compliance metrics; manages and fulfills compliance initiatives
Responsible for assisting in developing and coordinating compliance teleconferences and roundtable meetings, compliance web site maintenance
Reviews corporate policies to help identify gaps and develop new policy language; organizes and updates compliance-related policies and procedures; and reviews, analyzes, and updates compliance investigations to ensure cases are properly investigated and analyzed for trends
Provides updates to the General Counsel, Compliance team, the Deputy and Chief Compliance Officers, and the Director of Compliance
Reviews, develops and updates Corporate Policy Statements and Code of Conduct as needed. Manage the annual Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Certification process, including a mid-year policy reminder
Takes on and completes other tasks as assigned by the General Counsel, Chief or Deputy Compliance Officers
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
BA/BS or other related experience
Legal or accounting education preferred but not required
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
3+ years experience working within corporate compliance programs
Some travel required
