Manager Global Medical Information will report to the Associate Director, Global Medical Information and will be responsible for all Medical Affairs content (Core Data Decks, FAQs, Standard Response Letters and Custom Response Letters) related to their respective product. They will work cross functionality with the Medical Materials Review Committee, Medical Information Europe and external vendors.
Develop and maintain, Core Data Decks, FAQ documents, and other Medical Affairs materials for respective product(s)
Respond to unsolicited medical information requests including the development and maintenance of standard response letters and custom response letters
Liaise with Europe Medical Information to ensure Medical Affairs materials are meeting the needs of Europe
Attend medical congresses to assist with medical affairs booth staffing
Participate in Medical Materials Review Committee, and assist in review of materials as needed
Provide expert review of medical and scientific materials, such as dossiers and publications
Oversight of medical information call center vendor
Graduate degree in life-sciences or medicine-related field, PhD or PharmD preferred
Minimum 1-3 years of clinical research/drug development experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or contract research organization, or strong proven ability to assimilate and communicate scientific or medical information through publications or similar communications, some oncology experience preferred, relevant experience in academia, including graduate school, will be considered
Excellent organizational, managerial, and communication skills
Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and similar programs (Visio and Photoshop a plus)
Ability to analyze and clearly communicate medical and scientific data
Self-motivated, assertive, self-confident, working under general supervision
Resourceful, creative, energetic, results-oriented
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, small-company environment
Comfortable multitasking and working on the road (expect approx. 20% travel)
