JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Overview
The Accounting Manager will oversee the implementation and adherence to accounting policies and procedures and direct and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate record of the expenditures, assets, liabilities and equity transactions of the Company. This position is responsible for meeting deadlines and will direct a multitude of accounting activities including but not limited to monthly close process, reconciliations and year-end audit preparation.
Maintain the general ledger of the parent Company and its subsidiaries.
Manage the monthly close including preparation/review of journal entries, allocations and major account reconciliations.
Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document and support financial transactions.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff and accounts payable to ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions and reconciliation of general ledger and financial statement balances.
Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting and account balances are accurate.
Produce financial reports involving the Company accounts for monthly management meetings.
Produce ad hoc financial reports.
Make and implement recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
