Superior Group is seeking a production supervisor in Elma on 1st shift!
This position will be offered either temp to hire, or even direct hire as well.

In this role, the candidate will be supervising up to 50 employees across 2nd shift

Other duties/responsibilities:

Set departmental and total manufacturing goals for production, recordable accidents and safety
Handle employee training, reviews and discipline
Manage machinists, deburrers, CNC operators, Test Technicians, Assembly, and Inspectors.
Work with employees, management and engineers to achieve company goals.

Pay is based on experience. In addition to the base pay, this position is eligible for the Company Bonus and also other great benefits package

Required Skills / Qualifications:
Must have at least a high school degree or GED
At least 5 years in a supervisor role in a machine shop

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Decision making ability in fast paced environment

Previous exposure to Lean Manufacturing preferred.
