JOB DESCRIPTIONWill plan, direct, and coordinate marketing policies and programs for our 18 in country sales and distribution centers, as well as for our overseas affiliates. Will develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the company’s profits and share of the market while ensuring the customer are satisfaction. Will study and keep abreast of product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services. Will be responsible for prospecting new clients utilizing various channels and means of generating interest from potential clients. Will identify, develop, and evaluate our marketing strategies, based on engineering knowledge of our products, their potential applications and use. Will formulate and coordinate marketing activities to promote our products. Will identify and develop new accounts that desire market entry into innovative technology spaces, while aggressively increasing and securing our market share with our existing account base.
Will engage in strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of technical products, and lines, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.Will strategize meetings between client decision makers and the company’s practice leaders, and will handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Will negotiate contracts with clients and will provide and articulate creative solutions to amplify customer’s perception of value in a competitive marketplace. Will build and maintain profitable, consultative relationships throughout HP Enterprise, customers, channel partners and Intcomex business units, across all levels of seniority.
Will utilize his Engineering background to provide technical configuration and integration consulting, marketing and industry education, and facilitate beneficial partnerships. Will manage complex specialized application and solution requests involving highly technical products and services. Will determine technical and business requirements through effective questioning. Will formulate appropriate solution recommendations and presentations, and will recommend modifications to products or other characteristics to meet our clients’ needs.
Will identify both long and short term business opportunities and engage appropriate resources to capitalize on opportunities. Will develop pricing strategies balancing the company’s objectives with client satisfaction. Will provide quotes, as well as logistics support accurately and efficiently. Will assist customers with problem resolution. Will achieve marketing and profitability goals while contributing team support. Will participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with suppliers to market specialized technology products.
Company is located in Miami, Florida. Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field (will accept foreign equivalent of US degree), and 2 yrs. Experience in the job offered or related field.
