Harbor Medical Associates is seeking a Medical Biller II for our Norwell location. The Medical Biller II position will perform accounts receivable functions. Candidates must be able to manage a high volume of claims and meet productivity levels. Candidates will be comfortable with all steps of the collection process, medical billing (paper and electronic), identifying responsible party for payment, collecting and recording required insurance information such as eligibility, authorizations and claim status, processing EOBs and denials, communicating with the patient/guarantor on payment status, pursuing third-party payers for complete payment, etc. Excellent communication and organization skills are required. Candidates must excel at providing a high level customer service. Candidates will possess excellent computer skills, be a team player, and display a positive attitude.
High school diploma required. Degree or Certificate from an institute of higher education preferred. Minimum three years of experience in a healthcare setting required. Experience billing for a multi-specialty medical office preferred.
This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position and the shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5pm. Brigham and Womens Physicians Organization is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
