JOB DESCRIPTIONDescriptionPartner with business and IT teams to provide level two support for the Enterprise Network (e.g., Cisco LAN/WAN/Wireless/Voice) infrastructure. Participates on the Network Support team to troubleshoot and resolve complex 2nd level network related problems, coordinate resources where necessary and serve as escalation point to 1st level operational teams. Assist with project implementation and deployment when needed.QualificationsProvide Networking Systems technical support to business and partners.
Provide off hours network support via on call process.
Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with business and IT partners.
Assist with implementation of infrastructure projects.
Technical and engineering skills in Networking Systems (e.g., release updates, security patches, build, deployment tools and processes).
Security-related hardware and software experience, IPS/IDS, and centralized event monitoring.
Change management techniques associated with new technology implementation.
Proven skills in administering routers, switches, gateways, VLAN's, and access points.
TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, SMTP, Web Technologies, Security & Firewall
Network & telephone cabling including cross connects, punch downs & patch panels
Experience in Virtual Private Networks(VPN)
Linux operating systems is a plus
Experience with telephone switches is a plus
Experience with IPT and VoIP a plus
Experience with systems and patch management
LAN/WAN management and systems administration
Knowledge of Cisco IOS, WAN/LAN design
In depth understanding of internal & external DNS technologies
CCNA or CCNA Security preferred
