JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Partner Experience Director, Operations
Reports To: VP, Business Operations, Global Partner Organization
People Manager: Yes
You will be a key member of the Global Partner Operations team and responsible for and owning the Partner Experience, overall strategy and the operational excellence for the Partner Portal and the Commercial Tools and Systems supporting it. This includes all processes and procedures Hitachi Vantara Partners use. The objective is to provide a best in class Partner Experience along with ease and simplicity of use
Ensuring Quoting and Pricing Tool allows partners to quickly and easily configure and price Opportunities from the partners perspective
Creating ,developing and updating processes flows and procedures areas where partners interface with HDS for Program benefits.
Drive and build out Mobile support capabilities for Hitachi Vantara Partners
Own integrity of the Partner Portal, Partner company registration & self-registration processes
Increase adoption rates of self-service of Partner provided business tools such as Deal Registration
Developing a best in class Tools Support Desk
Develop KPIs to identify key measurement criteria for improving the Partners experience
Managing a small team of professional employees even though this is a hands on role
Drive changes through Corporate functions such as IT, Finance and Geo Operations but in a cross functional and collaborative manner
Articulate and communicate effectively and persuasively the needs of the partners to internal functions
Working with Key Partners to develop road maps and enhancements to the tools and systems Hitachi Vantara provides
Directing and working within an Agile project management methodology and acting in the role of Product Owner
The ideal candidate will have been in a technology space for a number of years and managed the implementation and operationalization of large transformational initiatives. Currently based in Silicon Valley and previously worked in a Distribution/VAR environment for Products, Solutions and Services with direct and first hand experience of manufacturer provided tools and systems. Direct exposure to International business will be a considerable advantage
10 years experience in Outbound Partner Operations roles
10 years experience in large technology organizations.
5 years experience in a Global role
Considerable experience on Enterprise platforms such as SalesForce.com, Adobe Experience Manager & Oracle ERP
Familiarization with Partner Pricing structures and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Tools
