West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division, the Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center (MBRCC)seek a hematologist/oncologist. The successful candidate must be board certified in internal medicine as well as eligible or certified in hematology and/or oncology.
This is a full-time clinical faculty position At present Eastern division offers ECOG, NSABP clinical trials through its affiliation with the main campus. Incumbent will develop and maintain appropriate policies and standards of the medical activities of the organization and act as a resource to the cancer program. Candidate will still enjoy direct patient care with a full clinical practice. Incumbent will actively participate in teaching community physicians, Geriatric Medicine fellows, family medicine residents and our medical students. Program currently consists of two full time medical oncologists and a radiation oncologist. Multi disciplinary tumor board and infusion center are a part of the program.
