Job Description:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


Work closely with other cross-functional teams to define, implement and introduce products to our customers. Teams include business, applications, product definition, product engineering, product test, CAD/EDA, etc.

Create architectures and system models

Chip lead, technical development responsibility

Block / top level design and verification

Create designs using RTL and custom gate schematics

Support of applications teams for customer issues

Design flow application and improvement

Verify designs using circuit-level and behavioral-level simulations

Supervise circuit layout to achieve area and power targets

Validate circuit performance in the lab

Create synthesis scripts, perform synthesis, design for test, work with place and route, complete timing closure

Synthesize to FPGA ICs, define, build and debug FPGA systems in the lab

Provide support to customers as they design your circuit into their end application

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:


Master s degree or PhD in EE with focus in mixed-signal design or 15 years experience in semiconductor design, preferably with experience on power controller products

Strong fundamentals in digital, mixed-signal design

Sound analytical skills

Experience designing in deep sub-micron CMOS

Understanding and utilization of digital signal processing

Familiar with the following tools: Cadence, Spectre RF, AMS, Virtuoso, Verilog AMS, Matlab, Labview, common laboratory equipment

Strong technical writing and communication skills
