JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Project Coordinator will report to the Institute Director and the Executive Administrator. We seek a self-driven and responsible individual who enjoys building skills on the job. Under general direction from senior management, the individual will perform complex and diverse administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of the Institute.
Responsibilities include: supervise Institute's reception area and respond to all inquiries. Maintain Institute office supplies, process mail, disseminate Institute information. The project coordinator will serve as a point of contact for all office visitors, maintain scheduling for all conference rooms, assist in managing the Director's calendar, print and distribute Institute announcements and assist in organizing seminars or symposiums. Monitor and maintain all Grossman Faculty membership information. Complete ePayments for invoices and reimbursements, enter and track expenses in spreadsheets, submit all buysite orders and organize inventories. Work with the Director and Executive Administrator to plan, schedule and organize seminar related activities and events. Develop content and maintain planning for weekly event newsletter.
Managing the Neuroscience website for the Institute will include soliciting updates and publications from Institute faculty members, undergraduate and graduate program administrators, students and post-doctoral fellows. The Project Coordinator will develop webpage layout and structures, content and utilize HTML when regular website tools are not applicable. Proactively updating any neuroscience information, creating pages, registration forms, and making programmatic changes as requested will be a weekly task.
