JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB SUMMARY:
This position will perform incoming inspection activities for incoming material.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Inspects and tests incoming materials according to specified procedures to ensure conformance with quality requirements.
Completes reports of inspection results in a timely manner.
Interacts with multi-functional groups inside and outside the Quality department.
Inputs transactions into Macola system for product received.
Initiates Vendor MRBs for non-conforming product, as required by company procedures and work instructions.
Requires regular, reliable attendance.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Perform the following duties in a professional way, supporting Ortho Organizers Quality Policy. Must understand, follow and comply with regulatory requirements as applicable to various processes. An understanding of FDA Quality System Regulations (21 CFR 820) and ISO Standards (ISO 13485) is required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1 2 years of related experience.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to organize and pay attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence and procedures in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one with other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates and percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written or oral instructions. Must have an "It's no problem to get the job done no matter what" type of attitude. Must be extremely detail oriented and be dedicated to performing tasks correctly the first time. Must work well with others.
