Essential Functions

Identify and document all quality issues as they arise. Record and report all quality issues using the approved systems. Perform internal audits, process audits and outgoing product audits (OPA). Maintain and create work instructions in assigned areas. Recommend continual improvement actions in assigned areas. Serve as quality technician as needed.


To inspect first article/initial sample inspection, incoming inspection, final product in-process inspection. Perform audits of quality system, processes, products, and parts. Ensure inspections meet quality systems criteria. Maintain established quality inspection procedures. Manage the control of equipment calibration. Manage non-conforming product material location and electronic accounting. Report quality issues to Quality in a timely manner. Able to perform other quality related tasks as directed by Quality.


Associates college degree in a related field, or high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 7 years experience desired. Inspection and/or quality assurance experience preferred. Must understand types of measurement, measurement terminology and different types of measurement scales. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and know definitions of critical, major and minor characteristics.
