The Regional Account Manager (RAM) will have the responsibility of supporting sales activity. The RAM will work closely with the Inside Sales team partners, Informatics Executives (IE), VP, Sales & Operations as well as vendor partners, customers, prospective customers. In addition, the RAM must work effectively with internal customers including Operations, Legal, and Finance.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Deliver product and pricing information to partners and customers in a timely and efficient manner with correct information
Effectively follow-through and follow-up with customer requests to ensure exceptional service with a high level of urgency and responsiveness to customer requests
Accurately maintain a database of customers and prospects to accurately reflect account information and revenue forecasts using SalesForce.Com (SFDC)
Assist in coordinating licensing and contracting activities for sales
Research account histories for accurate quoting
Responsible for maximizing contract term and profitability
Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of Aleres Quality Management System per ISO, FDA and other regulatory agencies
Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Preferred educational background:
Associates Degree preferred and/or a proven track record of:
Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail in administrative functions and in communication both written and oral
Learning new technical information quickly and thoroughly in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to operate independently without frequent supervision or guidance
Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool such as SFDC
Inside sales experience in a medical, laboratory, or software/technical industry
Experience in price value contract negotiations
Thorough understanding of financial dynamics (pricing, profitability, contract management, opportunity costs as well as improved patient outcome through financial savings)
Advanced Excel capabilities for analysis
