Summary: The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs home care services and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education/experience. Administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent professional nursing services. Teaches and supervises the family, and other members of the nursing team. Each staff nurse performs nursing services for residents within a specific area.Requirements:Licenses/Certifications:* Current licensure in state and CPR certification.* Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.* Active/current agency health requirements.* Must complete required department competencies to validate and maintain competency.Education/Experience:Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with Associates or Bachelor's degree.Experience: Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience in hospital setting - medical/surgical; with two (2) years community/home health or skilled nursing experience preferred. Management experience not required; but responsible for supervising home health aides.
