Rinaudo Lab- Junior Specialist
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences is now recruiting a Junior Specialist. The position is available immediately to study the epigenetic effects and long-term consequences of in- vitro fertilization (IVF). This position requires performing in vitro fertilization, embryo transfer and mouse manipulation (weighing mice, collect blood and tissues), together with molecular biology work (RNA extraction, real time RT PCR, western blot). In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining inventory of lab equipment/supplies and order supplies when needed.
A Bachelor s degree in related field and prior laboratory experience are required. Prior experience in embryo manipulation is preferred. Successful applicants must have good publication records and can demonstrate his/her creativity, expertise and productivity in the areas specified.
