The New York, USA site is seeking a Scientist in vivo Sciences, reporting to the Senior Director, CNS Pipeline.
The incumbent will be a key technical contributor in a dynamic and progressive team pioneering scaled manufacturing processes for the generation of therapeutic cells from pluripotent stem cells. Hands on experience in the development of scalable cell culture and cell processing methods/technologies is essential, and familiarity with cGMP aseptic manufacturing requirements is a plus.

As an experienced in vivo rodent animal scientist, the incumbent will perform and be responsible for the in vivo studies at BlueRock, establishing and using animal models of neurological diseases.
Responsible for PD models as required.
Hands-on experience with animal lesioning and cell transplantation into specific areas of the brain using stereotactic surgery.
Responsible for the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC) submission and compliance as well as compliance with other site-specific regulations.
