Superior Group is looking for Senior Accountant for our Client located in Danvers, MA.

The Senior Accountant plays a key role within the Finance team by ensuring the integrity of accounting and reporting information.
Through daily general ledger maintenance, month end close responsibilities, and financial reporting & analysis, this position is responsible for the entire financial cycle.
This position will report to the Director of Finance and may be asked to assist with other activities and projects as requested.
Responsible for the overall accuracy of the general ledger and financial statements by being a key contributor to the month-end close process.
Prepare and post general ledger journal entries to include verifying results for accuracy, as well as maintain and prepare corresponding balance sheet reconciliations.
The focus will be primarily around Prepaid, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accrued Expenses and related expense accounts.
Prepare income statements and various value-added analyses by gathering, verifying and calculating information.
Work closely with counterparts at Eliza’s parent company, uploading and reconciling General Ledger and Trial Balance information.
Provide management with financial information and answers to questions by researching, interpreting data, analyzing accounts and presenting findings.
Strive for an efficient and fast close cycle with the goal of providing Eliza’s business leaders with the most accurate financial information in a timely manner.
Work closely with the FP&A team by updating forecast models with historical and actual financial results.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Progressive a corporate role
Minimum of 2 years’ Experience with NetSuite or comparable large ERP system.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Proficient in Excel to include pivot tables, filters, data manipulation, IF statements, and lookup formulas
NetSuite Admin or system savvy skills
Self-driven problem solver with follow up skills, intellectual curiosity and creativity
Deadline and detail oriented, organized with great time management and communication skills
Ability to interact with all staff levels with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Comfortable in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
