Designs, implements, maintains and supports infrastructure services in accordance with business and functional requirements, using appropriate SITA standards, policies and processes across multiple projects.


* Configure, deploy, upgrade and support multiple Hypervisor technologies.

* Configure, deploy, upgrade and support SQL Server technologies through the use of automation tools and SSMS.

* Implements, builds and supports infrastructure systems and platforms in accordance with agreed standards, meeting the agreed technical and functional business requirements and specifications.

* Ensures the integration of the requirements matches that of interacting systems, applications and services both inside and outside of SITA in the wider airline community.

* Participates in full lifecycle of multiple small to medium projects ensuring the solution(s) developed are able to sustain the projects' functional and business requirements.

* Ensures all risks and issues that affect the project are raised following set processes and are actioned appropriately. Escalates risks and issues that pose a significant impact to deliverables.

* Willingness and availability to travel 50-75% of the time


* At least 5 years experience in implementation or support of infrastructure platforms, application deployments, implementing systems and modules with experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations.

* LAN / WAN physical and logical components and operation

* Network security physical and logical components

* Server operating system as well as client level mastery

* Server virtualization technology mastery

* Well developed SQL Server design and maintenance skill set

* Must have framework understanding with the ability to perform SQL administration functions, recommend, schedule, and perform software maintenance, improvements and upgrades.

* Hands on experience with SQL tables, table relationships, view, and store procedures


* Master's degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar.

* MCSA and MCSE credentials are preferred but not a prerequisite

* Where applicable a recognized professional certification is desirable.

* Advanced Knowledge of ITIL service management principles.

* Basic costing acumen.

* Good knowledge of the SITA development, support and project tools.
