The successful candidate will contribute to a range of drug discovery efforts centered on identification of novel targets, pathways, and mechanisms in neurodegeneration and identification of associated biomarkers. strong Responsibilities: /strong /p ul li We are seeking a highly motivated cell biologist whose primary responsibility will be to design and conduct experiments that advance the development of therapies. Specifically, we are seeking a candidate that has strong experience in cell biology with in-depth expertise in lysosomal biology and intracellular trafficking of proteins. /li li The candidate must be willing to work with live animals and post-mortem tissues. /li li The position requires the candidate to design, complete experimental studies, carry out data analyses and interpretation, and report findings to the team. /li li The candidate must be highly driven, independent, very organized, and detail oriented scientist, and possess strong communication skills to thrive in our highly collaborative environment. /li li This role will interface with an interdisciplinary team of scientists in the Internal Medicine Research Unit, and engage in both target exploration and driving established projects in our portfolio. /li li The successful candidate will also be a critical part of the team focused on delineating novel mechanisms and pathways for drug discovery and biomarker identification in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. /li /ul
