JOB DESCRIPTIONSoftware Analyst-Intermediate
60% - Under the direction of the Senior Analyst Team Lead and the Charge Capture Manager, Analyst will create, maintain and document charge router rules to ensure accurate and compliant charging. Create, maintain and document charge review rules and workqueues to route work effectively and accurately.
10% - Create new and maintain existing Epic Professional Billing fee schedules. Work with administration and departments to provide accurate data, update ICD-9 and CPT information and fee schedule updates. Maintain documentation related to fee schedules and procedures for updating. Maintain Epic system dictionaries/profiles and processes that are related to fee schedules.
10% - Assist the Senior Analyst Team Lead in maintaining and updating end-user security for professional billing. The Analyst will work closely with the UCM Epic Security Team to create Security Logs and follow change control policies for implementing and testing new security.
10% - Develop new, maintain, improve and troubleshoot vendor data extracts using the Epic Reporting Workbench and Data Extract tools.
10% - Other Functions
Create procedural, technical and training documentation.
Follow ITIL processes regarding change control, version control and environment control through the enforcement of UCPG and UCM change control policy.
Serve as backup to the EDI Analyst to run claims and remittance processing in their absence.
