DescriptionThe successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert within the organization for the optimization platform, a key tool enabling eCommerce to accelerate sales growth. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively across different teams within eCommerce and must possess a strong technical understanding of the platform and web technologies overall. The Sr. ecommerce analyst is expected to deliver high-value optimization insights from tests; maintain, update and improve upon existing optimization processes; lead DSG's effort to maximize our investment in optimization platform by developing new capabilities; answer ad-hoc questions through deep-dive analyses; educate team members of how to access and interpret the data. Launch A/B or multivariate tests on the website to increase revenue per visit, conversion rate or other KPIs. Promote the adoption of a test & learn culture.
QualificationsJob Duties & Responsibilities

Campaign Set Up: Help facilitate the campaign set up process including designing how the test should be constructed, test segment construction, how long the test should run and the measurement strategy for each test. Partner with internal teams to determine the feasibility and complexity of campaign ideas. Senior Optimization Analyst will be a technical subject matter expert in the Optimization platform, guiding on targeting best practices & cautioning on pit falls, reporting segmentation, etc.. Collaborate with manager on swim lane management to simultaneously maximize available traffic while ensuring we are able to have a clean interpretation of test results. Help shepherd a test thru the full life cycle from ideation to launch.

Platform Maximization: Takes lead on longer-term platform initiatives including developing new capabilities that have not been fully utilized internally and platform code upgrades. Conceive and partner with development to implement new visitor profiles. Focuses on approaches that will yield more sales or increased efficiency.

Campaign Review and UAT: Reviews the set up on all Optimization campaigns to ensure accuracy and best approach. Validate that the campaign set up and execution fulfill the business requirements. Evolve the UAT protocol for pass / fail evaluation.

Campaign Analytics: Maintain and evolve the reoccurring reporting that summarizes the effectiveness and impact of live or completed campaigns. Complete deep-dive post mortem analyses to understand how the campaign impacted other secondary measurements.

Evangelism & Training: Advocate the values of a robust testing program. Train users on how to use the optimization platform.
