We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Sr Operations/Reliability Specialist (Beam Unit) within our Permian EOR group.

This position is responsible for executing, managing, and overseeing the Beam Unit program.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Manage the beam unit budget (Permian EOR) on a monthly basis and adjust according to market conditions to maximize company s goals.
2. Support Production OPS, Well OPS and Supply Chain on all aspects of beam units.
New Purchases
3. Provide technical expertise on beam unit service.
4. Provide input on the operation, control and preventative maintenance of beam units.
5. Participate on committees to develop standards for beam unit selection, installation, operation, control standards and preventive maintenance.
6. Represent Oxy in witnessing teardowns and repair of beam unit equipment.
7. Provide Field with beam unit troubleshooting support.
8. Support RCFAs on beam unit failures.
9. Evaluate new technologies to improve beam units.
10. Supervise the Beam Unit Specialist for the beam unit program.
11. Supervise beam unit vendors
12. Supervise Beam PM program.
13. Supervise Beam Unit Budgets.
14. Audit data repositories.
15. Collect beam unit data for KPI creation. Create KPI s that identify bad actors and establish best practices that drive beam unit reliability.
16. Drive new products and processes into beam vendors HES programs to mitigate health and environmental risks.
17. Supervise new product testing and evaluation.
Take ownership of reliability issues. Investigate, evaluate and recommend solutions.
Bachelor s degree preferred in Business related field or Engineering

Professional/Technical Knowledge:
Expert mechanical and analytical aptitude

Professional/Technical Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver s license and good driving record

7-10 years of experience working with Beam Units

Skills & Competencies:
Expert experience working with Beam Units
Artificial Lift Markets
Ability to manage teams
Knowledge of operations and reservoirs
Ability to manage large Budget
Extensive expertise in EOR safe work practices
Strong Leadership and Mentoring skills
Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude
Strong RCFA experience
Excellent with Microsoft Office
Expert experience with beam unit inspection and repair techniques
Ability to perform under pressure
Ability to troubleshoot well systems and their impact on beams
Must be self motivated, self directed and able to work unsupervised
Good interpersonal skills
