Dewberry is currently looking for a Crew Chief to perform a variety of tasks associated with land surveying and civil engineering in our Sarasota, FL office.","*Perform right of way survey aspects of transportation engineering projects
*Perform design survey aspects of transportation engineering projects
*Field work associated with land surveying
*Perform Boundary, Topographic, Tree & Channel Surveys
*Assisting with survey computations and data collection as needed
*Other duties as assigned
*A minimum of 5 years of survey experience as a survey crew chief
*Associates or Bachelors Degree in Surveying is preferred
*Able to operate Topcon Total Stations, Lieca GPS, static, RTK, RTN
*Familiarity with FDOT Electronic Field Book (EFB) data collection
*Ability to shoot Topography
*Ability to work remotely under rigorous conditions
*Familiarity with construction plans and RW maps
*Certified Survey Technician, Level II or III (CST) or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
*Utility designating experience a plus
*Excellent communication skills
*Must be reliable
*Have the ability to work out of town, flexible with work area
*Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in order to operate company vehicle
*Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screening
