Superior Group is hiring a Test Engineer for our customer, a technical manufacturing company, located in the Niagara Falls, NY area.
The test engineer’s aim is make sure products meet quality standards and function properly. The tests performed varies depending on the product and industry, typical testing methods involve monitoring, assembling, improving, and manipulating a product to ensure it is in no way defective.

Primary Functions:

Ensure that products perform their proposed functions in a satisfactory manner.
Inspect product functions as well as monitor test procedures and equipment.
Use statistical methods to identify reoccuring problems and give detailed reports on defects.
Works on multiple highly complex major projects requiring innovative, original solutions.
Supports multiple projects simultaneously.
Develops test procedures to verify functional testing and performance of complex systems.
Develops procedures, methods and tools for test, verification and certification of the company’s products.
Validate testing activities and results of manufacturing equipment.
Participate in design verification of new equipment.
Participate in preparing product compliance documentation.
Participate in Route Cause Analysis when repetitive failure of company’s products occur, or failure under warranty.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or similar field.
Minimum 3 years experience in Test Engineering role using strong analytical reasoning and problem solving skills.
Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing environment
