This is an exciting opportunity for applicants to gain skills and expertise in caring for patients on one of our expansion units set to open Fall 2017. We currently have an opening for a Unit Educator on our Internal Medicine unit.
This 20 bed unit provides advanced and specialized care to patients with a variety of medical conditions including renal failure, liver failure, respiratory complications, infections and many other diagnoses. It is identified as a dedicated unit for the patient population it serves, allowing for close collaboration with the physicians and other ancillary team members.

* Monitors clinical competencies of staff, developing and supervising unit-specific orientation programs, and precepting new staff
* Ensures documentation of all staff activities are on file with the Nurse Manager.
* Offers and implements solutions to unit challenges and/or problems.
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
* Current Kansas RN license is needed.
* Two years clinical experience is required.
* Must have an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) or an American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
