3RD SHIFT SUNDAY - THURSDAY 10:00 P.M. - 6:30 A.M.

Our production positions are quite structured in order to consistently produce our products with minimal quality variation. Our shop floor Team Leader to work hands on to manufacture product needed for customer demand and to meet on time delivery for optimum customer satisfaction.


* Successfully Interview with relevant hiring team

* Previous production experience helpful but not required


WEEK 1: (UNLESS ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED) * Complete required HR, Safety, Quality and Benefits Orientation

* Complete IPC 610/J-STD-001 Training and pass post training assessment

* Complete hand solder training and pass post training assessment

WEEK 2 6 MONTHS: * Learn and comply with: Paperless Work Instruction Documentation System, ESD Requirements, Kronos Timekeeping, Standard Operation Procedures, and where necessary SAP defect recording and/or Valor Traceability Recording

* Begin On-The-Job-Training with assigned trainer; Listen and follow instructions

* Participate in 45 day review process and Performance Feedback

* Communicate with other shifts to ensure that relevant information is shared for maximum understanding of production situations (i.e. quality issues, missing parts, machine issues, downtime, etc.)

* Complete Yellow belt Training and required project

* Needs to develop good understanding of department processes

* Will monitor assembly scrap

* Can navigate SAP transactions (including defects recording and traceability)

* Knows how to fill out MRB tags for non-conforming material and locations

* Knowledge of moisture sensitive devices per (MSD) procedure

* Will assist in maintaining department reports and records

* Able to run machinery when needed

* Knowledge of computer system to help with routings, shop orders, requisitions, ability to check in parts and reconcile material, etc.

* Monitor Safety of employees

6 MONTHS +: * Cross train on 3-5 other jobs within the team/shift

* Participate in 6 month and one year review process

* Monitor Scrap and efficiency on the production lines

* Create and support an operational environment that is focused on continuous improvement

* Provide assistance to the Team Lead in maintaining the operation of the of the operating unit

* Will fill in for Team Leads in their absence

* Make decisions based upon schedule requirements and keep WIP moving to next process

* Confidentiality

* Able and willing to cross-train into other production positions which may have different technical or physical requirements (when time available)

* Ability to learn computer systems

* Possesses good computer navigation and Reading /Math skills

* Ability to communicate effectively within the KEG team environment

* Able and willing to contribute to the success of KEG s business initiatives i.e. scrap reduction, quality incentive program

* Support company policies and guidelines

* Promotes our Mission and Guiding Principles by assisting in meeting expectations to customer, people, citizenship and the success of the company

* Ensure proper tools and other equipment are available

* Maintain an open/effective employee relations environment

* To ensure accurate data entry

* Promote and lead teams in continuous improvement activities that help to improve the operational performance goals

* Motivate, coach and hold team members accountable

* Completes and /or expedites maintenance requests

* Provide employee training when needed

* Helps communicate and coordinate operator activities based on routings and schedules

* Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

* Can help or lead Corrective Action

* Can do monthly 5S audits as needed

* Will conduct department meetings

* Able to record information on the DPM file

* Can attend meetings for Team Leads

* Will monitor material shortage, do cycle counts and adjust system if off

* Ability to communicate verbally and written to others

* Assist in chemical runs with the stockroom

* Can cover in Team Leads absence

OTHER/ONGOING EXPECTATIONS: * Keep personal data up to date and accurate in ESS

* Follow all handbook practices

* Maintain attendance record with less than 2% absenteeism rate

* Work effectively as a team with other members of the line/group
