We are looking for a UX designer with a strong interest in research. You should be a strategic thinker with hands on design experience. You will participate in both the design and research for a product, utilizing strong visual communication skills. You will be responsible for determining the design direction, including the UX and UI, for a variety of mobile and desktop applications.
Your work will make a difference. Our products are far reaching, effecting entire transportation systems for cities across the globe. We create products that enhance users lives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to user experience design and rapid prototyping efforts
Collaborate with UX research team to create and facilitate testing to validate designs with internal or external users, as well as plan and facilitate interviews and surveys to inform design direction of products
Strong ability to understand, empathize with and bring together various perspectives
Build relationships with customers and stakeholders to gain insights
Ability to quickly implement research methodologies to collect results to drive change
A portfolio that includes design samples and effectively communicates your process, including project insights, solutions and current design trends
Eye for visual design excellence and commitment to user-centered design principles
Strong communication skills and ability to sell your UX vision to multiple groups
Self-starter and self-driven; have a high-level of professionalism and attention to detail
Experienced with remote testing tools
Familiarity with the Adobe Cloud software suite, Sketch, or InVision
Experience with Material Design is highly desired
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to work onsite at our Austin Studio
Must be able to gain government security clearance
