Responsibilities

Manages national team of Electromechanical & Drives Systems Engineers (ESEs) who provide high level technical sales support to the field sales team, distributors and direct customers. Coordinates Value Added Systems and Services programs across Groups and with Parker Global partners as needed. Responsible for project management, engineering design and technical direction, prioritization of projects for the systems engineers. Position has direct reports. - Must network with Sales Staff and division technical staff to design and or implement custom systems and value added services strategies. Responsible for accelerating sales growth of Systems. - Works with Group and Division Marketing to execute strategic and tactical plans to obtain short and long-term objectives with market research and innovation. - Design, formulate and implement a strategic business and mission plan for the Electromechanical & Drives Systems Engineers. - Conducts competitive research, evaluates sales performance, and formulates goals and milestones for specific products, services or systems. Applies thorough understanding of the division s technical capabilities, operational capacity, and market information to influence future plans and strategies. - Serves as the liaison and facilitator with customers and Group/Division to resolve issues and assure customer satisfaction with regard to cost, product quality, delivery, and performance. Provides the customer with liaison support within and across divisions on existing and new programs. Stays in close contact with division technology and operations teams to enable rapid turnaround solutions. - Develops and maintains relationships with customers to gain knowledge of future market and customer needs and further develop business opportunities. - Identifies opportunities for business development by studying competitors products, benchmarking, problems, market intelligence, identifying trends. - Coordinates activities of team to align resources with highest return on investment. - Directs focused sales efforts of new products with ESE team examples PAC and SSD products. Develops programs to enhance the effectiveness of our Technology Center distributors. Supports - Business Development and Marketing staffs on special projects by providing market or application specific knowledge. - Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing trade and technical publications, establishing professional networks, and/or participating in professional associations and attending industry trade shows and conferences. - Establishes goals and objectives to carry out programs or functions by coordinating all efforts across the division. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making complex comparative analyses. - Serves as technical subject expert and resource. Shares specialized knowledge with others. Represents the company on specific projects. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities (e.g. continuous improvement). - Accountable for full budget planning and cost management that may include engineering systems and staffing multiple application engineering or service Teams. Provides input to leadership on long-range plans to meet both current and anticipated growth and resource challenges. (E.g. workforce planning; new technical systems investments). - Partners with and promotes technical collaboration opportunities for product innovation or systems solutions. Serves as a primary liaison on technical capabilities. Provides input to the technology roadmap and division business plans. - Identify and create technical training and developments plans for the team. Mentor and serve as a resource to share specialized knowledge with others.
