Professional Human Resources Director: responsible for all of the organization's human resource (HR) functions that support the organization's overall strategic direction. Is responsible for all aspects of human resources including employment, recruiting, orientation & training, compensation benefits, labor relations/contract negotiation, employee relations, organizational development, safety, human resource information systems & performance management systems. Incumbent must have the ability to recommend & resolve problems or issues consistent with Company standards, practices, policies, procedures, & government regulations or law. Must remain current on laws, regulations, compliance, compensation & benefit plan design trends. Is responsible for a broad range of labor relations services to employees who are members of collective bargaining unit(s). Works effectively with a Board of Directors. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in human resources management, labor or industrial relations, business or public administration or equivalent experience that provides the knowledge, skills, & abilities is required. Certification of PHR or SPHR preferred. A minimum of 4 yrs of progressively responsible experience as a professional in Human Resources, personnel and/or labor relations required. Prefer experience in the nonprofit world & within an organization with multiple work sites. Salary: doe/doq - Benefits include vacation, sick leave, 401(K).
