Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator for Blue Bell, PA site location reporting to our Marlton New Jersey Project Group. The position will be at our clients project site in West Point, Pennsylvania. The individual will provide commercial oversight, procurement, co-ordination, expediting and contract administration for procurement transactions associated with our Projects. This individual is the key resource expert of construction and/or engineering contracts including local regulations, competitive markets, make bid analysis to facilitate contract negotiations and supply chain management. This individual is experienced in evaluating data on suppliers, market initiatives and is accountable for recommendations to Purchasing Management on cost savings initiatives. Also, this individual interfaces with corporate and site groups, including purchasing, engineering, legal and construction auditing. During the execution of his/her duties, he/she shall ensure our client is given utmost consideration for quality, service and price. REQUIREMENTSEducation: Four year college degree is required.Experience: Minimum2 years of Project Engineering/Project Management, Commercial/Business or Procurement Experience Knowledge: Working knowledge of procurement process, including familiarity with activities such as requisitioning and purchasing of materials, supplier interactions, contract negotiations, establishing of commercial terms and conditions, construction purchasing, contract negotiations. Working knowledge of contract law, local regulations, and policies, as applied to the construction industry. Skills: Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated project management skills, effective negotiation skills, analytical and decision-making abilities. Must be proficient in PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, as well as e-mail and Internet searches.
