Superior Technical Resources is looking for Systems Engineer for our client located in Bellevue, NE.
Systems Engineer will be responsible for performing multiple engineering activities including trade studies, project planning, design analyses, operational concept definition, requirements management, cost-benefit and life cycle cost analyses (including Cost-as-an-Independent Variable (CAIV)), risk analyses, performance modeling and simulation, project planning and specialty engineering. Activities include evaluating current system architectures and defining the evolution of the future Air Force Weather Agency (AFWA) enterprise architecture. Position supports the environmental business area. Hours: 8am to 5pm.
· Demonstrated understanding of methodologies related to Systems Analysis and Design Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle
· Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain/maintain a DoD secret clearance.
· Understanding of software fundamentals and technologies
· Understanding of server, storage, and networking technologies
· Understanding of UNIX and Windows server operating systems
· Experience working with customers to develop and document requirements
· Solid communication skills - written and verbal
· Strong architecture background to include DODAF
· CMMI Process Development experience
· Previous Systems engineering experience
· Previous Systems Administration experience
· Previous Software Engineering experience
· Previous Security engineering experience
· Experience with large and small project implementations where project management fundamentals were applied
