We are presentlyseeking experienced Construction Managers and Project Managers to join us in various locations across New York State to provide construction management support to the New York Power Authority.DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Hill International will be looking for construction management support throughout New York State to augment the New York Power Authoritys Staff on various capital expenditure projects.Tasks would include, but not limited to; Performing construction project oversight of capital projects for NYPA Contractors personnel will be utilized to support the Authority during outages and non-outage maintenance and construction activities, as well as other Authority programs/projects. Contractors personnel will interface activity with site and headquarters staffs, outside contractors and union craft labor Following disciplines may be required; Electrical Mechanical (piping design, etc.) Structural/Civil (pipe support) Licensing Environmental Facility e.g. HVAC, plumbing Fire Protection Chemical Construction and Construction Supervisors Cost and Scheduling (Engineering and Construction) Instrument and Control (process control instrumentation) Procurement Professionals Estimating (engineering, construction) QA/QC Engineers Code Compliance Engineering Aides Clerical Aides Requirements: Must have a minimum of 5-10 years experience. Prior experience on power plant facilities, particularly with gas transmission Possess or obtain a valid US passport Capable of traveling via commercial or company plane if required Four year college degree is PREFERRED
