OMNISEC International Investigations, Inc., a subsidiary of OMNIPLEX, is seeking qualified applicants to fill up and coming opportunities for Contracting Officers in Northern, VA.Job Duties:Will be performing fixed price contract settlement actions or property management activities as a team memberReview files to ensure all appropriate documentation has been provided; Prepares and executes final settlement documentationPrepares and negotiates final settlement; makes final payment; collectionsAnalyzes contracts and de-obligates funds identified to be cancelled.Resolves property disposition (prepares written disposition instructions) or legal issues.Manages the client's program for property in the possession of contractors. Conducts audits of contractor8217;s property control systems.Requests, reviews, and analyzes annual property inventory statements to determine amount to be reported in the client's financial statementsOther duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:2 years of progressively responsible professional contracting experience or equivalent to one tour of duty as a Contracting Officer (Senior position)4-10 years experience working with Government fixed priced contracts and understanding Government contractual requirements.(all positions)Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Contract Administration or a closely related field of study OR possession of a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) Certificate- for Senior positions OR High School diploma or GED for junior positionsKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and statutes.Knowledge of contract vehicles ( independent contractor, commercial item acquisitions, firm fixed price, and finite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) and cost reimbursementKnowledge of the procurement systems, regulations, policies, and proceduresKnowledge of the budgetary process, federal and agency fiscal cycle, funding practices, and legal requirementsWorking knowledge of common procurement business and industrial practicesConsiderable working knowledge of price analysisWell-developed customer service skillsOral and written communication skills; able to give briefings on routine to moderately complex procurement topics and issues to a wide range of technical and non-technical customers, co-workers, and managers.Strong interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation skillsMust have current TS/SCI Clearance and Full Scope Poly.OMNISEC160;is committed to a drug free workplace.
