This person will manage a team of professionals who will design, develop and maintain the Data warehouse landscape at Adobe. Will provide expertise in the areas of design, development, business process, DW architecture, and be responsible for the design and delivery of the information warehouse solutions as well as the associated processes.Will demonstrate leadership within the IT Organization and be a strong ally of the business stakeholders to resolve their information challenges. Will provide overall direction in the design and maintenance of this large-scale Data WarehouseResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for data warehouse technology and related applications.Providing uniformity in process and data definitions that provide single versions of the truth leveraging fewer disparate systemsPartner and communicate effectively with a variety of business users (Executives, Directors, Managers, and Analysts) geographically dispersedDriving the highest degree of confidence in data quality and controls to protect our data assets and meet regulatory and financial reporting expectationsIdentify opportunities and implement strategies to improve data management practices across the organization.Leads in the definition of enterprise level data including: customer, financial, employee dataEstablishes and maintains the request policies and controls to protect data and ensure compliance on privacy regulations and legal reporting requirements on a global basisProvides direction and leadership on data architecture requirements to enable strategic goalsEnsure the data integrity of the data warehouse, proactively identifying issues and quickly providing solutionsManage all aspects of the project lifecycle and deliver quality solutions that meets business requirementsSet development priorities & ensure on-time delivery of requirements.Lead onsite & offsite development teams. Analyze staffing requirements, recruit and develop internal team skills necessary to deliver against business objectivesPartners with other data organizations and architecture group to define appropriate enterprise business intelligence strategies and standards.Provide a data warehouse infrastructure that support application and business needsWorks closely with IT to ensure appropriate level of infrastructure is established and supported in the on-going delivery and support of overall BI delivery systems and data storage capabilitiesEstablish service levels for all delivered applications and manage themRequirementsThought Leader - The candidate must be a thought and recognized leader in the information warehouse space, identifying opportunities where technology and data management best practices can drive incremental business benefit, .Champion Change - Challenges the status quo and champions new initiatives; acts as a catalyst of change and stimulates others to change.
