Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both lateral and vertical Proven track record of management and personnel leadership and development.The Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M) Business Unit is seeking a self-motivated individual with knowledge of production operations, full general ledger experience, and proven supervisory skills to take the Plant Controller/ Accounting Manager role in our Rochester Wire & Cable operation located in Culpeper, Va. The Rochester Corporation is a $56 million production operation that primarily serves both land and offshore oil exploration activities with engineered wire and cable.The Plant Controller/ Accounting Manager position would provide strategic direction to the accounting department performing full general ledger functions including, but not limited to accounts receivable, credit & collections, accounts payable, inventory accounting, capital expenditure and fixed asset accounting, and manufacturing cost accounting in support of the production operation. Significant interface with the Senior Management Team in Culpeper as well as the offsite AD&M Leadership Team is required.This position will also be responsible to work with the local and Business Unit teams on strategic initiatives designed to grow the Rochester Wire & Cable business, as well as provide impactful analytics to the local management team enabling improved decision making in all aspects of the business.
