SEC is accepting resumes for experienced Decontamination Technicians to support D&D activities in Niskayuna NY. The candidate must have at least 2 years demonstrated experience providing decon support in high hazard environments in various levels of PPE. The work will involve various mechanical decontamination methods including scabbling, grinding, cutting, as well as application of strippable coatings. Work will also involve climbing and working at heights.
Minimum qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* 40-HR HAZWOPER
*5 Yrs commercial power and/or DOE experience
* Must be physically able to wear PPE and respiratory protection as needed.
*Ability to lift 50 lbs
* Must be able to pass a background screen and pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Active DOE “L” clearance
*Prior D&D experience
*Prior KAPL or SPRU experience
* Competitive Pay Rate commensurate with experience
