Plan and execute landscaping operations; maintain grounds and landscape of private residences and estates consisting of up to 20 acres of land; prepare and grade terrain; apply fertilizer; seed and sod lawns; transplant shrubs and plants using manual and power-operated equipment; plan and plant new and repair established lawns using seed mixture and fertilizers; locate and plant herb gardens; set-up, adjust, and operate mowers and tractors to mow lawns and pastures, including liming and fertilizing; mow and trim lawns, using hand mower and power mowers; cut and trim shrubs, trees, and logs; use rakes, brooms, and hose to clean grounds; dig trenches; repair concrete and asphalt walks, driveways, and roads; keep landscape clean by removing debris; remove dead branches, shrubs, and twigs; prune trees and bushes, etc.; supervise up to 60 landscape gardeners and laborers; exercise wide discretion; perform related duties as necessary; report directly to President; 2 years (24 months) experience in the job or 2 years (24 months) experience as a Landscape Gardener) required.
