Primary Function
This entry level position is responsible for providing basic support of all scheduled work orders in the field to increase efficiency and meet work order fulfillment, take sales calls from installers and service technicians assisting with up-sells and other administrative duties.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Operate PC to input and retrieve subscriber account data and make notations as needed. Successful completion of New Hire training. Provides support for in-bounds calls from technicians related to sales and basic changes required on work orders the field technician could not complete through their mobile devices. Maintain daily operational records, which include account credits, escalation of issues, referral requests, and reports summarizing daily metrics. Promote and recommend Comcast products and services based upon the technician's needs during up-selling of a customer Runs basic reports for fulfillment operation Act as a liaison between customer service and technical departments Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required. Must be available for overtime or extended hours, as needed. Demonstrates active listening skills to ensure mutual understanding of customer's/technician's concerns/comments. Effectively communicate information, minimizing the need for future contacts. Represent Comcast in a positive, professional manner, working to exceed customer's expectations while minimizing the need for further escalation. Available to work overtime including weekends, nights, and holidays. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills: 6 months to 1 year, technical operations, or customer service experience preferred. Ability to use personal computer and Microsoft software applications. Ability to multi-task. Able and willing to work flexible schedule as business needs require. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact positively in high stress situations. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance a must. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to work with various phone platforms One year of telecommunication experience preferred. Geographic knowledge of the service area preferred.
High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
