Our National Security Global Business is currently seeking a CBRN Equipment Assessment Unit Project Officer. The selected candidate will work on site at Tyndall AFB, FL. Battelle is a world leader in science and technology research. Our Battelle Albany Georgia Operation specializes in providing logistics support to government organizations engaged in Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense (NBCD).
Primary Job Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of Equipment Assessment Unit operations.
2. Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of Equipment Assessments as the Team Lead.
3. Perform travel as required to support Equipment Assessment operations at locations primarily within the continental United States.
4. Effectively communicate orally and in writing through briefings, reports, and correspondence on Equipment Assessment Unit matters.
5. Prepare Equipment Assessment technical reports.
6. Read, interpret, and determine the technical validity of engineering drawings, specifications, work orders, engineering change orders, and technical/supply manuals for CBRN-D equipment.
7. Perform periodic travel to obtain or maintain equipment and/or training certifications at locations primarily within the continental United States.

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
1. AS degree or 10 years experience in military CBRN-D equipment and operations.
2. Experienced in Personnel management and time management.
3. Experienced in NBC Shelf Life Management.
4. Certified and Experienced in the Operation of all DCTE within 6 months of assignment.
5. Knowledge of Serviceability Standards for NBC Defense equipment.
6. Knowledge of proper receipt, issue, storage and accountability of NBC Defense equipment.
7. Trained and Experienced in Hazardous Material Handling.
8. Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Hazardous waste and disposal.
9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
10. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a SECRET Security Clearance.
