Position Purpose:Lead the coordination and implementation of existing Signature Chefs fundraising event. Work with Executive Director to recruit new companies and donors to secure year-over-year sponsorship as well as new sponsorship. Work with current volunteers and seek to recruit new volunteers to support cost-effective fundraising throughout the division. Work in collaboration with the Executive Director in cultivating donors for the Division Annual Giving Program..Position Responsibilities:Coordinate in planning and implementing existing Signature Chefs campaign Manage and develop existing volunteers and recruit new volunteers to assist with Signature Chefs activities Assist in efforts to obtain corporate sponsorship and donations Work with program staff and volunteers to ensure that every event contains program content to enhance the knowledge of the audience and general public regarding March of Dimes mission, program, special services and benefit for mothers and babies Assist in management of VDEM data on event and donors..Qualifications Required:Credit and criminal background check is required for this position. Offer is contingent upon satisfactory completion of credit and criminal check. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and education Minimum three to five years in not-for-profit or equivalent Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Computer skills Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong organizational skills Ability to deal with multiple priorities.
