This position supports tasking for PMA-263, NAVAIR Head Quarters in Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidate will support the unmanned aircraft FMS program development. Tasking will include analysis, case development and management relating to the above systems. Review LOA and P&A Proposals, review and development of Statement of Work, briefings and general support. Education: Associates?s degree from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of related work experience is required. Six (6) years of demonstrated experience in military aircraft, avionics, mission planning, including weapons systems is required in lieu of a degree. Experience: Demonstrated experience in two (2) of the following areas is required: manufacturing engineering, product ability material support, avionics development, mission system integration, configuration management, specification development, environmental impact analysis, weapons system performance, maintenance management or quality assurance inspection methods. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge and experience in Unmanned aircraft, AVIONICS, Electronic Countermeasures, Software, Communication, Navigation, Identification, RADAR, Sensors and Weapon Systems is desired. Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and aircraft systems, preferably in unmanned aircraft, is beneficial. Ability to develop briefing materials and meeting minutes required with working knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Project required. Familiarity with NAVAIR security/ technical transfer policies preferred.
