Primary Responsibility:
This position is responsible for managing the online technology solutions across both the centralized services team as well as the local RSN teams to be the driving force behind its software development and technology operations. The primary responsibilities include managing the development, architecture, QA, operations and technical culture of the Comcast Sports Group Interactive business unit. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of managerial, strategic, technical, and product development expertise to the challenges of innovating and operating rapid growth web properties.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Vice President Technology will build the products, talent and platforms that create the innovative entertainment and media services of the future.
Oversee the critical functions of engineering/development, architecture, QA, deployment and operations.
Manage a team, strategic internal and external partners and define processes to keep momentum and ensure on-time, successful software development and operations.
Set and meet achievable product development milestones, and actively manage the technical teams by goal setting, incentive alignment and measurement.
Oversee the technical roadmap and functionality. Balance, staff and deliver against multiple diverse product development efforts
Lead the technical team to contribute 'the art of the possible' through research, invention, incubation and prototypes.
Define and execute the technical vision and strategy in alignment with the broader division's objectives.
Work with other Comcast units and key partners to develop world-class cross-platform products. Develop standards and technologies that lower the barriers to building great customer experiences across all platforms.
Develop, negotiate and oversee key vendor, partner and technology evaluations and purchases.
Prepare and execute operating and capital budgets.
